Frequently Asked Questions

What's included in the price stated on the website?
The price includes pick up and drop off at your accommodation (or other location of your choice), petrol, parking fees, mineral water and driver costs. Entrance fees and personal expenses such as lunch and souvenirs are excluded. Please see the page of your preferred tour for more specific guidance.

What do I need to bring?
There are no set requirements, but here are our suggestions:

  • money

  • camera

  • phone

  • snacks

  • sunscreen

  • mosquito repellent

  • sunglasses

  • swimwear and towel (where applicable)

If you are planing to visit a temple, you will need to dress appropriately. Rental sarongs and sashes are often included in the cost of admission, or they can usually be purchased from a seller nearby. You may prefer to bring your own. You will also need a modest top that covers your back and shoulders: sleeveless items such as tank tops are not permitted.

Are your tours accessible to travellers with disabilities?

Many of the natural and cultural attractions in Bali require a certain degree of mobility and physical fitness in order to access them. We would be happy to discuss your requirements and customise your itinerary to ensure you can maximise your time in Bali.

What method(s) of payment do you accept?
For now, we only accept payment in cash in Indonesian rupiah (IDR). If you need assistance finding an ATM or a reputable money exchange service, please let us know and we will be glad to help you.

Can we change the order in which attractions are visited?
We can customise any one of our recommended tours to suit your needs. However, our tours are planned around our experience with travel times and distance. Alterations may incur further costs to cover additional fuel and time, but we will inform you of any additional expenses at the time of booking.

Will the tours take place in bad weather?
Yes - as long as you are happy to proceed, we will be delighted to show you how beautiful Bali can be in the rain.

What's your cancellation policy?
As we do not take a deposit, there are no fees to pay in the event of a cancellation. However, please note that we may have declined other bookings in order to secure your trip, and so we would be grateful if you could please give as much notice as possible.

Can you help arrange transport to Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and the Gili Islands?
Yes, we would be happy to help organise this.

What vehicle will we be travelling in?
Junajani uses a Toyota Avanza with seatbelts for every passenger.

Will other groups be present on our tour?
Our tours are exclusive to you and the members of your party. However, there will be other guests at the attractions you visit.

What is the maximum number of passengers per tour?
We can accommodate a maximum of six passengers. If you are part of a larger party and would like to arrange two or more vehicles, please contact us. Note that the price stated on the website is per vehicle/driver.

Is there a minimum number of passengers?
No. We are sensitive to the safety concerns of solo travellers and are very happy to accommodate lone persons
without a single supplement charge. We have helped many individuals explore Bali and are proud of the positive feedback we have received in providing comfort, security and safety.

What is the maximum number of passengers per airport transfer?
We would recommend no more than four passengers to a car, assuming you are also carrying luggage. Please contact us to discuss your exact requirements.

Can we create our own itinerary?
Yes, we are happy to accommodate your preferences and/or work with you to create a bespoke tour of the attractions you most want to see.

What are the road and traffic conditions like in Bali?
Roads in Bali tend to be very busy and so traffic can be slow-moving yet chaotic, with cars, scooters, pedestrians and stray animals jostling for space. Road infrastructure is best in the southern part of the island and outside the major roads it might be considered quite rustic, especially when compared with nations such as Australia. One of the benefits of hiring Junajani is that we know these roads very well and we know how best to navigate them!

Do you have a baby seat?
This can be arranged on request. Please note that an additional charge will be payable.

Can you recommend a restaurant/gallery/museum/workshop/performance etc?
Yes, we would be delighted to share our recommendations and assist with reservations and arrangements upon request.

If we have not answered your question, please contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
