Gunung Kawi is an ancient archaeological site known for its ten monumental rock-cut shrines, carved into the cliffs along the Pakerisan River. These shrines are believed to date back to the 11th century and they are thought to be dedicated to members of King Udayana's family buried there. Take a leisurely stroll through verdant coffee groves and witness the art of traditional coffee cultivation at a local plantation.
